Instant Pot or Slow Cooker
An instant pot or slow cooker is an essential RV kitchen accessory for many reasons. You’ll be able to prepare all sorts of foods and quickly heat them with minimal effort. All it takes is a push of a button! These devices take up very little counter space, which makes them great for your camper’s kitchen. Not to mention you can cook foods like stews, rice, casseroles, and more! Throw in your ingredients in the morning and you’ll have a delicious dinner by evening.
Stove Top and Sink Cover
One of the main challenges of an RV kitchen is the limited counter space. This means you’ll need to get creative to maximize food prep space. Investing in some sink covers and/or stove top covers is a great way to save space. These covers can double as cutting boards and can add more space and functionality to your kitchen, making them a go-to accessory!
Shatterproof Dishware
Regular glass or ceramic dishes can break easily while in transit. These standard dishes are heavy too, so avoiding bringing them on your trip is probably best. Instead, buy some melamine or Corelle dishes to add to your camper’s kitchen. These are lightweight and more durable than standard plates, making them perfect for travel.
Portable Grill
Using your stove can heat up the interior of your RV beyond just the kitchen. If you want to avoid this, consider cooking outside with a portable grill! You can easily store your grill, and you’ll be able to cook burgers, hot dogs, chicken, fish, vegetables, and more!
Sturdy Cookware
It doesn’t make much sense to bring a dozen different-sized pots and pans to put in your RV’s kitchen. We suggest only bringing the essentials. This includes a few pieces of cookware that have removable handles and lids that you can easily stack and store. You can also bring a cast-iron pan since this item can cook a variety of foods!
