We have locations in Port Coquitlam, and 100 Mile House, British Columbia, and we are proud to serve Vancouver and Kamloops too!

1. Rear Living

This is a popular RV floor plan, especially among families. In this floor plan, the sleeping accommodations are put in the front. There are a variety of bedroom and bathroom layout options, which makes it easy to find the right design for your family. The kitchen and living room are spacious, and you may even find models with a master bath, a guest bath, two recliners, or a sofa! For those who love entertainment on the road, you can find a rig with a rear entertainment floor plan.

2. Outside Kitchen

Although most campers feature indoor kitchens, there are plenty of outdoor kitchen floor plans too! Standard kitchen amenities like a refrigerator, microwave, and sink are built into the side of the camper. Some models may include a gas grill, cabinets, a bar, and more.

These layouts provide many advantages including:

  • Increased cooking flexibility: you’ll have two meal preparation areas
  • The ability to enjoy the beauty of nature while you cook outside
  • Avoiding having to pack and clean outdoor cooking items
  • The ability to host tailgating parties with ease

3. Front Kitchen

Food enthusiasts tend to go with this RV floor plan. You’ll enjoy extra storage, increased counter space, and a maximized kitchen space. This makes it easy to prepare delicious meals on the road. This floor plan is often found in travel trailers and fifth wheels. This is a great layout for families with young children thanks to the centralized living room.

4. Rear Kitchen

If you love cooking, the rear kitchen floor plan is also a great choice. It offers a lot of the same advantages as a front kitchen layout. However, the kitchen is in the back of the camper. This layout makes it easier for the cook in the kitchen to easily converse with travelers in the next room. If you want an open layout, this is the floor plan to go with.

We hope this guide helps you choose the perfect RV floor plan for your travels! If you have any questions or you’re ready to see some models for sale, contact Meridian RV today.
